Privacy policy

What we collect

• From the form: your name, email, phone number if you add it, your message, and the page you sent it from.
• When you call, text or email: whatever you choose to tell us.
• While you browse: the pages you visit, how you found the site, your device and browser, and your general location. Google Analytics and Meta collect this for us using cookies.

How we use it

• To reply to you and help with your home purchase or sale.
• To see which pages are useful and improve the ones that aren't.
• To show our ads to people who have visited this site, and to see which ads lead to a message.

We never sell, rent or trade your name, email or phone number.

Who else handles it

These companies run parts of the site for us:

• Lofty, the client management system where your message is saved so we can follow up.
• Cloudflare, which protects the site and passes the form to Lofty.
• Webstudio, which hosts the site.
• Google Analytics, which measures how people use the site.
• Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, which measures and shows our ads. When you send the form, we also send Meta your email and phone number in scrambled (hashed) form, so it can tell whether the message came from one of our ads.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your request. Ask us to stop at any time and we will. We never share your number, or your permission to text you, with other companies for their marketing.

Your choices

• See what we have. Ask, and we'll tell you what information we hold about you.
• Delete it. Ask, and we'll remove it, except records the law requires us to keep, such as paperwork from a completed sale.
• Turn off tracking. Block cookies in your browser settings, use Google's opt-out add-on, or change your ad settings on Facebook.
• Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends this signal, we don't load Meta's tracking on the site.

Keeping it safe

The site uses an encrypted connection. Form messages aren't stored on the website. They go straight to our Lofty account.

Children

This site is for adults buying or selling a home. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
